Where land meets sea. Join us for an afternoon celebrating Sonoma’s coastal bounty, where Freestone’s cool-climate vineyards meet the character of the Pacific. Guided by Executive Chef Tod Kawachi, this five-course pairing menu highlights locally sourced ingredients from the Sonoma Coast—including oysters, caviar, and seasonal seafood from trusted regional purveyors—artfully matched with our Freestone Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. A reflection of place and provenance, The Coastal Table captures the essence of Sonoma—bright, textural, and beautifully in balance.

Experience Backus Vineyard, one of Napa Valley’s defining Cabernet Sauvignon sites. Situated on volcanic slopes overlooking Oakville, Backus embodies the power and precision of site-driven winemaking. This rare opportunity includes an exclusive visit to the vineyard itself, followed by a tasting at the Home Ranch of exceptionally limited library vintages of Backus alongside the current release, with a thoughtfully paired lunch, each course designed to complement the depth and character of this storied wine.

The Forager's Table

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a reservation?

We require all guests to have a reservation to visit. We offer a variety of experiences to choose from.

Full payment is due at time of booking for all visits.

To provide a safe, relaxing, and intimate experience for our guests, all visitors must be at least 21 years of age. Infants and children are not permitted at the winery. Please note that only certified service animals are allowed on property. We cannot accommodate pets. Thank you for understanding.

All guests do need to have a tasting reservation to visit the winery.

For the safety of our guests, we do not allow anyone to walk through the vineyards. If you are interested in a guided vineyard hike, we do offer our Vineyard Hike & Private Tasting experience on select weekends May through October. Visit Tock to schedule.

For Terrace Tastings, we have a 72 hour cancellation policy. For all private experiences, the cancellation policy is 7 days.

We understand that you may have a designated driver or a non-taster in your party. There is a charge of $20 per person plus tax for any non-tasters. Be sure to include them in your guest count so they do have a seat when finalizing the reservation. You have the option to choose a non-taster when booking through Tock. We do ask that at least half of the group participate in the tasting.

We are sorry, but no outside food is allowed on the terrace.
