For five decades, Joseph Phelps Vineyards has been guided by a simple yet unwavering philosophy—pursuing excellence, not quantity. In 2020, the Napa Valley and our Home Ranch Estate faced a formidable challenge as fast-moving wildfires threatened our beloved vineyards. Thanks to the remarkable dedication of our first responders, our property remained unharmed. However, due to the heavy smoke and its impact on the grapes, we made the difficult decision not to produce red wine that year.

Undeterred by adversity and inspired by the spirit of our founder, our winemaking team seized this moment to craft something truly exceptional. A one-of-a-kind Anniversary blend of Insignia was born. This extraordinary wine represents a refined selection of our Estate’s finest fruit.
