1989 Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaker Notes One of the most striking examples of our Napa Cabernet Sauvignon produced this decade, we've drawn from some of the valley's best known vineyard areas to craft this delicious wine. Cedar, tobacco, and vanilla dominate the nose with strong cassis and red currant flavors in the finish. While approachable now, this wine has the structure to improve over the next 5 to 7 years.
Winemaking Data Grapes were harvested at an average of 23° Brix, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and aged 16 months in 60-gallon French oak barrels before being blended, fined with fresh egg whites, and bottled in August 1991.
