With a master’s degree in finance and a background that includes roles at Moët & Chandon, Ruinart, and Veuve Clicquot, Stan has played a pivotal role in the wine industry both in Champagne and Napa Valley. His journey with Moët Hennessy has seen him lead finance roles across various Champagne Houses, complemented by responsibilities in quality, safety, and environmental stewardship. Stan returned to Napa in 2023 after a previous tenure as VP and CFO for Moët Hennessy wineries in California, bringing with him a passion for sustainability and operational excellence in viticulture. Stan finds fulfillment in exploring the intricacies of grape sourcing and sustainable farming practices, contributing to Joseph Phelps’ commitment to producing wines of exceptional quality and character.
