Winemaker Notes This is the first vintage that estate-grown grapes from new plantings in Las Rocas and the new plantings in Banca Dorada on the Rutherford Bench have been blended together. The wine has deep berry and blackcurrant aromas and flavors, soft tannins, and a long, lush finish.

Reviews 93 Points - Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate
… the 1990 Insignia is an extremely strong wine. It offers rich cassis fruit… and spicy flavors. (1993)
