The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is a big, rich wine bursting with dark fruit. This is a fairly immediate style, some serious tannins notwithstanding. Smoke, tobacco and licorice develop in the glass, adding complexity and nuance. The powerful, fruit-driven finish is totally rewarding, but this will be even better in a few years' time.

It's rich and ripe in blackberry, cherry, currant and oak flavors, with wonderful tannins and a dry finish.

Medium to medium-dark ruby; attractive, intense, cedary, cassis, black cherry and blackberry fruit aromas with hints of green olive and espresso; full body; forward, concentrated, cedary, dark fruit flavors with notable richness and firm acidity, full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Very highly recommended.
