Joseph Phelps Vineyards has embarked on a major Guest Center renovation project at the Spring Valley estate in St. Helena, Napa Valley. The Guest Center’s interior spaces will be extensively re-purposed to further enhance the visitor experience. The building’s historic redwood exterior, designed in 1973 by renowned architect John Marsh Davis, and outdoor tasting areas will be largely unaffected by this renovation.
Construction began in January 2014 and is targeted for completion during Spring 2015. Planned improvements include: newly created private tasting salons, a Phelps Preferred private lounge, wine library and barrel room, paired with enhanced vineyard views and a new state-of-the-art kitchen will provide an unrivaled Napa Valley visitor experience.
Renovation updates will be posted here on a regular basis. We invite you to check back often to view our progress and look forward to the Grand Re-Opening of the Joseph Phelps Guest Center in 2015. In the meantime, join us at the Joseph Phelps Temporary Guest Center during our "Year in the Vines." (Artistic renderings, subject to change.)
